Office Receptionist

Building skills, Fostering community, Celebrating achievements

At Bright Climb Center, we offer person-centered programs that support adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to grow, work, and live with confidence and independence.

Employment Services

Preparing individuals for the workforce with job readiness coaching, hands-on training, and real-world opportunities.

  • Soft skills: workplace etiquette, teamwork, punctuality

  • Resume building and mock interviews

  • Learning workshops and coaching

  • Public Transportation training

  • Training roles and internships opportunities

 

Skill building pathways: ​

  • Office Skills: phone etiquette, photocopying, paper shearing

  • Laundry: washing, folding, and garment sorting

  • Sanitation: sweeping, mopping, basic maintenance

  • Reception: phone handling, greeting visitors

 

Creative & Specialized Vocational Options:

  • Arts & crafts: jewelry, candles, greeting cards

  • Digital: basic graphic design,& media skills.

  • Gardening: watering, & plant care.

  • Pet care: walking, feeding, & dog care.

Adult Transition Program (ATP)

Guiding young adults through the shift from school-based services to adult life.

  • Daily routines & time management

  • Self-advocacy and decision-making

  • Travel training and community safety

  • Social & communication skills

  • Goal setting and personal development

Independent Living Skills (ILS)

Helping participants build the skills they need to live as independently as possible.

  • Personal hygiene and self-care routines

  • Cooking and meal planning

  • Laundry, cleaning, and home upkeep

  • Money management and budgeting

  • Navigating public transportation

  • Accessing community resources and referrals

  • Recycling 

Adaptive Skills Training (AST)

Enhancing everyday functioning through behavioral coaching and structured support.

  • Emotional regulation and stress management

  • Conflict resolution and coping strategies

  • Practicing active listening

  • Community integration and communication

  • Handling emergencies and crisis response
