At Bright Climb Center, we provide a safe and supportive environment that empowers adults developmental disabilities to grow through guided coaching, academic transitions, and life skills development. We are committed to nurturing independence through personalized workshops, vocational training, and real-world work experience helping each individual climb toward their personal goals with confidence and purpose.

Bright Climb Center is a family-owned and operated nonprofit founded by Maria Barranco and Wendy Sanchez — two passionate advocates committed to empowering adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Together, they’ve created a welcoming, person-centered space where participants receive guidance, develop life and vocational skills, and gain the confidence to lead more independent lives.
Bright Climb Center is a reflection of their shared values: dignity, inclusion, growth, and the belief that every individual deserves the chance to climb toward their full potential.
Maria Barranco now serves as Founder & Executive Director, overseeing the development and delivery of person-centered programming, while Wendy Sanchez leads as Founder & Managing Director, guiding operations, outreach, and the center’s long-term vision. Yet, the most fulfilling part of their work remains the same: enriching the lives of their students and helping them grow.
